School Bus Driver Arraigned For Molesting 3-year-old Pupil In Lagos
A Magistrate court in Ikeja has remanded a 37-year-old primary school driver, Kingsley Okwumbu in Kirikiri Correctional centre for allegedly molesting a three-year-old pupil of the school.
DailyTrust reports that Okonkwo was on Tuesday, April 19, arraigned for defilement and s3xual assault.
Magistrate Ejiro Kubeinje did not take Okwumbu’s plea and ordered that he should be remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The magistrate directed the police to send the case file to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and adjourned the case to May 10.
Earlier, the prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that Okwumbu committed the offence in March. He said Okwumbu, being a school bus driver at Beehive Nursery and Primary School, Agidingbi, defiled a three-year-old pupil.
