4-year-old Boy Crushed to Death By Huge Family Gun Shaped Like Barbecue Grill (Photos)

 

 

A 4-year-old boy, Byan Jara, has died in a tragic accident after a family barbecue shaped like a gun fell on him. The boy was outside playing while his mum was inside doing housework.

 

According to her, she suddenly heard a thud at home in Liberty County, Houston, Texas. When she ran outside, she saw Bryan had been trapped under the grill which had fallen over. 

 

Although she called the emergency services, Bryan could not be saved at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown and was pronounced dead.

 

According to police, it seems the boy was climbing on the custom-made grill when the incident occured, knocking him unconscious.

 

A neighbour, Juan Martinez, said he heard her screaming and went to help.

 

He said: "I just heard the lady scream and once we got over there, we just saw the grill was on top of the kid's head. It was pretty heavy, whenever they or we lifted it up, we barely were able to pick it up because it was so heavy."
