Argentina's World Cup-winning captain Lionel Messi clinched the top spot after his national team heroics, while Kylian Mbappe finished third in the votes.
Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has ranted on social media after losing FIFA's 'The Best' award won by Lionel Messi on Monday, Febuary 27.
Benzema previously posted a video on Instagram in the immediate aftermath of Messi winning the award, with a man heard saying, in Benzema's native tongue, 'Liar, yes, you liar.'
That post was accompanied by the words 'good night' as a caption at the bottom of the video.
The Frenchman has again displayed his annoyance at finishing second in the standings for the individual award recognising the world's best player over the course of the last year.
Argentina's World Cup-winning captain Lionel Messi clinched the top spot after his national team heroics, while Kylian Mbappe finished third in the votes.
Benzema's latest social media update saw the 35-year-old list out all of his personal and team achievements over the last year in an apparent dig that he should have won the individual accolade.
