Sani said they were first dug out and toxically spread by the party’s chieftains and elites who attempted to stop Tinubu from winning the primaries.
A former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has asked the All Progressives Congress to blame its members for negative narratives about President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
According to Sani, elites and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, should be held responsible for all the negative things being said about Tinubu.
Sani said they were first dug out and toxically spread by the party’s chieftains and elites who attempted to stop Tinubu from winning the primaries.
His statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Sani, a social critic, claimed the opposition was copying from the APC.
He wrote, “Any negative things said about the President-elect was first happily dug out and toxically spread by the elites & chieftains of his party, in their attempts to stop him from winning the primaries. Whatever the opposition are saying today came from the tongue of the ruling party.”
