The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) disclosed on Sunday that no life was lost as its officials rescued all victims of the Sango police barracks building collapse in Ibadan.
The agency made this disclosure during a telephone conversation with Dailypost.
One of the buildings within the police barracks in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State reportedly collapsed on Saturday evening.
According to the South West Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Mr Saheed Akiode: “We received a call around 6 pm on Saturday that a building at Sango police barracks has collapsed. We then activated all our teams and move there.
“We have rescued all of them and relocated them appropriately.
“No life was lost. We make sure that it did not escalate. We were able to bring the situation under control.”
