Maryam Shetty, the woman leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has referred to herself as “the richest woman in Africa”.

She stated this after she sat in the VIP section with Nigerian billionaires, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola and founder of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, during the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu held in Abuja on Monday.
