The man probably used the mosquito killer due to the absence of a turning stick.

In the captured video titled ‘Why would you use a mosquito killer to prepare eba?’ the young man is seen patiently using the tin as a turning stick.

He dipped it into the eba, held the top with his hand, stirred it, and turned it to his satisfaction.
