On Thursday, a petrol tanker with a capacity of 45,000 litres ignited in flames during the process of transferring petrol to the reservoir at Fortunate Petrol Filling Station in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
A Daily Post correspondent who witnessed the incident reports that the quick response of the state fire service saved the filling station from a major fire disaster.
