Chairman of the committee, Air Commodore Ahmed Tijjani Baba (rtd), who briefed reporters shortly after recovering eight vehicles on Wednesday,June 24, restated the commitment of the committee to recover all the state property in the hands of former officials of the previous government.
Tijani called on all individuals concerned to hasten the return of all properties belonging to the state government in their custody, as the committee will not spare anyone who has any government’s property with him or her.
He maintained that the committee was not out to witch-hunt anyone but to ensure that all properties of the state government taken without following the right channel, were returned.
