The actor raised alarm saying many Igbo children today are unable to speak their mother tongue.
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has called for immediate solution to the declining use of the Igbo language among the younger generation.
Speaking via his Facebook page, the actor contended that many Igbo children today are unable to speak their mother tongue.
He described it as a failure that must be addressed by parents and the community.
He wrote: “Today, many of us who are Igbos, our children cannot speak Igbo. “It’s a failure on our part that must be corrected moving forward.”
