Emmanuel Adebayor's Mother and Brother Finally Beg For His Forgiveness

 

Emmanuel Adebayor's mother Alice and his younger brother, Rotimi have decided to call truce with the Tottenham Hotspur striker as they sent a delegation to him from Nigeria to end the family crisis that has paralyzed the good relationship they shared in the past.

 

The delegation made of family members and close friends appealed to the former Arsenal striker but shockingly he has refused to forgive them due to reasons that are so personal to him.

“We met Alice at the market in Koviakope where she sells kitchen utensils. She was quite surprised to see us. She presented her own case and prayed for her son", said a member of the delegation who spoke to reporters on the condition of anonymity.

His brother Rotimi also shared some information about the reconcialition process. He said, “I was at home in Avedji when he (Adebayor) called me to join the peace meeting. I prostrated to him for long hours, begging and seeking for forgiveness. I am really frustrated now and I really expect him to pardon us now”

“I am very ill now and I need money to treat myself. I also need cash to pay for my house rent, which is already due for payment. I asked him to assist me but he refused. I hope my plea would not be for nothing”

Meanwhile Adebayor appears relunctant to welcome them back into his life after accusing them of trying to kill him in the past.
