Drama As President Tinubu Stumbles During Reception Parade In Turkey (Video)

Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu briefly stumbled during a ceremonial parade held in his honour upon his arrival in Türkiye on Tuesday.

The incident happened as Tinubu joined the guard of honour.

He was quickly helped to his feet by the security operatives who surrounded him.

There was a little distraction after the president stumbled, before the event continued without disruption.

Tinubu is in Turkey, to consolidate the relationship with Nigeria and also explore new areas of cooperation.

During the visit, Tinubu will hold bilateral talks with his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on issues of trade, security, investment and regional cooperation.

The programme will also feature the signing of several memoranda of understanding between the two nations, alongside other high-level official engagements.
