Nigerian Woman Allegedly Poisoned To D3ath By Her Jealous Co-Wife In Gombe

A tragic incident has rocked a community in Gombe City, where a woman identified as Fauziyya reportedly died after being poisoned by her co-wife.

The incident which occurred in the Riyal Anti Kalare neighborhood within Gombe metropolis, sent shockwaves through the local community.

According to a local source, Ismail Abubakar Maisalati, the fatal act was driven by jealousy over their husband. 

The suspect is alleged to have laced the victim's food with poisonous substance known locally as “Gidigam”

Fauziyya consumed the tainted meal, unaware of the deadly plot against her life. 

Eyewitness accounts and community members suggest that tensions between the co-wives had been simmering due to competition for their husband's attention and affection. 

According to one  Maisalati, the young woman's d3ath has left behind grieving family members, including her husband and children who must now navigate life without her. 

Community members have expressed prayers for the deceased, with many calling for justice and urging authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly.
