Tinubu Celebrates Shettima at 60, Hails Him as Trusted Ally

President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu have celebrated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, calling him a trusted ally and patriot dedicated to Nigeria's progress.

Tinubu said Shettima's life has been shaped by service, commitment and sacrifice.

He praised the Vice President's banking career and his time as Borno State governor before taking office as vice president.

The President commended his leadership of the National Economic Council and his role in coordinating economic policy between the Federal Government and states.

Tinubu highlighted Shettima's loyalty to the ruling party, his support for the administration and his dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He described the Vice President as a trusted partner whose wisdom and sense of duty have been valuable to the government.

The President thanked Shettima for his partnership and said he is confident they will continue making progress together on Nigeria's development.

He prayed for God to protect, guide and strengthen him, and grant him many more years of service to the nation.

In a separate message, the First Lady also joined Shettima's wife, family and friends in celebrating his milestone birthday.

She praised him as a Vice President who exemplifies strength, loyalty, commitment and love for country.

She celebrated his achievements as governor, senator and banker, and prayed for God's continued blessings on him.
