Toyin Abraham is preparing to light up Nigerian cinemas once again with a new film arriving during the highly competitive December season.

Actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham is returning to cinemas with her upcoming film Bestie, set to premiere nationwide on December 16, 2026.

The new project marks another chapter in Abraham's impressive run as one of Nigeria's leading filmmakers and box office draws.

Her return comes off the back of strong performance from her previous film Oversabi Aunty, which crossed one billion naira at the Nigerian box office and earned recognition from the National Film and Video Censors Board.

Earlier, Abraham had hinted at preparing another cinema release for December after announcing that Alabosi 2 would be her final YouTube movie for the year.

She teased fans with promises of another beautiful chapter and bigger stories ahead.

December remains peak season for Nigerian cinemas, with filmmakers traditionally using the holiday period to release major productions and capture audiences seeking entertainment during Christmas and New Year festivities.
