Niger Governor Bago Names Six New Commissioners

Governor Mohammed Bago has made a fresh move to reshape his administration with several new appointments across Niger State.

Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago has named six new commissioners and several political advisers.

The appointments were announced Tuesday as part of efforts to strengthen how the government runs and improve services across the state.

The six commissioners-designate are Lucky Barau from Gurara, Isah Wakili from Bosso, Isah Adamu from Kontagora, Emmanuel Alamu from Magama, Shuaibu Saidu Kaboji from Mashegu, and Mohammed Danladi Garba from Borgu.

The governor also appointed Alhaji Nma Kolo as Chief Political Adviser.

Yahaya Emilugi, Yusuf Tagwai and Salman Yusuf were named Special Advisers on Political Matters for Zones A, B and C respectively.

The new commissioners will need to be screened and approved by the State House of Assembly before they can take office.

The appointments reflect the administration's aim to spread representation across different areas of the state and improve how government services work.
