Boko haram have sent 11 of their fighters to their untimely graves this morning after they reportedly fled the camp. They were caught up with and their throats were publicly slit before terrified villagers.
According to SaharaReporters, Boko Haram, the dreaded terrorist group which has been in operation in Nigeria since 2009 has struck again but this time, the victims are its members.
The bloody incident took place this morning, Friday, 3rd of July in Miringa village, Biu Local Government Area of Borno State after the sect nabbed members who fled from one of their numerous camps. The fleeing insurgents were on the verge of surrendering to the Nigerian military forces.
20 Boko haram fighters who got a wind of their plan gave them a hot pursuit. They were captured and a short trial exercise was organized for them after which their throats were allegedly slit before the highly terrified villagers.
The Nigerian army is yet to respond to this new development.
