Kobe overtakes Michael Jordan in NBA top scoring history

The student has overtaken the master. As of last night Kobe Bryant is the third highest scoring NBA player of all time in overtaking the 32.292 points that Michael Jordan secured in his time as a player.

 
The student has overtaken the master. As of last night Kobe Bryant is the third highest scoring NBA player of all time in overtaking the 32.292 points that Michael Jordan secured in his time as a player.

 Kobe scored 26 in the Lakers win against the Timberwolves last night, and has now scored a career total of 32.310 points. Bryant is behind two legends, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38.387) and Karl Malone (36.928) in the all time ranking.

It was a magical and historical evening in the Target Center in Minneapolis. The game took second place and all the focus was on that moment when Kobe would get those points that would see him overtake Jordan. With 5.24 left before the break, Jordan had the 15,000 spectators on their feet as he scored the basket that saw him become the third top scorer in NBA history.
