Man Beheads Wife to 'Deliver' Her From Evil

 

A marriage between a couple who met at a mental health facility as patients in 2003 has gone bloody following the husband's beheading of the wife.

 

Kenneth-Dale Wakefield, 43, told the court on Tuesday, August 4 that he killed his wife, Trina Heisch, 49, in an alleged bid to try to 'get the evil out of her'.

 

According to the prosecutor, the man allegedly smoked marijuana and the designer drug spice before committing the murder at his Phoenix apartment on the 25th of July.

The prosecutor said Wakefield, a transient with a history of mental illness, was booked into a Maricopa County jail on Aug. 1 on one-count of first-degree murder and two counts of animal cruelty after being released from a local hospital. The prosecutor said he was held on two million dollars bond and was expected to appear in court for a status conference on Aug. 7.

Police revealed he stabbed his wife severally before cutting off her head as well as those of her dogs. He also cut of his own left arm and pulled out one of his own eyes which made the case so weird. The discovery was made by their neighbour who was in the regular habit of checking on the couple as a result of the mental attacks suffered by the man. And on this occasion, the neighbour saw the headless body of his wife as well as the dogs with blood splashed everywhere in the house.

 

The man was also stained with so much blood due to injuries. He then contacted the police who were shocked at the discovery at the scene of the crime.

 

The man has been reported charged with murder and jailed.
