Agreement Reached As Victor Valdes Set To Join Manchester United Until June 2016

 

Victor Valdes has reached an agreement with Manchester United and will sign a one-and-a-half year contract with the 'Red Devils', who are managed by Louis van Gaal. The former Barcelona goalkeeper, who will be David de Gea's team mate, has passed various medical tests and has finally reached an agreement with the English club

Valdés suffered a serious knee injury last March in a match against Celta Vigo. The goalkeeper ended his contract with Barça last June and was discarded by Monaco, having previously reached an agreement with the Ligue 1 club. Now he has been signed by a historic club that he previously frustrated in two Champions League finals (in 2009 in Rome and at Wembley two years afterwards).
