Gbam! FIFA Slams 90-Day Ban on the President of Thai Football Association

 

63-year-old Makudi, who is is a former member of the FIFA executive committee was banned from football for 90 days on Monday.

A statement by FIFA said that “the adjudicatory chamber of the ethics committee, chaired by Hans-Joachim Eckert, has suspended Worawi Makudi from all football activities at national and international level for 90 days,”.

FIFA said the suspension of Makudi was “on the grounds that a breach of the code of ethics appears to have been committed and a decision on the main issue may not be taken early enough.”

Details of the case, which will soon be investigated formally, were not given.
