A video has emerged showing the very moment a thief used his toddler son as cover to steal a laptop from a computer shop in south Russia.

The brazen father stole the laptop and hid it under his sweater before using his son to prevent prying eyes from spotting his theft.
However, CCTV caught him in the act and local police has since posted it online, hoping it will help them identify him.
The video starts with the man looking at computers in a shop in Chelyabinsk in Southern Russia. He is accompanied by a toddler, believed to be his son, as he picks up a laptop.
After opening and shutting the computer a few times, he looks around to ensure that no one is watching him.

He can be seen turning around and tucking the computer into his trousers and under his shirt.
He then picks up his young son and waltzes out of the shop as quickly as possible with the 25,000 roubles (£250) laptop concealed from view.

What he did not bargain for however was the shop's CCTV and the damning footage has been given to the police and also uploaded onto the internet.
He then walks out with the baby covering his act
The incident happened in the city of Chelyabinsk in Southern Russia's Chelyabinsk Oblast.
Police are now trying to identify him from the video.
