football maestro, Ronaldo has named five players who are potential Ballon D'or winner after himself and Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo who is the current winner of Ballon d’Or was speaking ahead of the release of a film on his life in the past year and named Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba as two of the best youngsters who can challenge himself and Messi.

Neymar

Also mentioned are Neymar Jnr of Barcelona, Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard and Memphis Depay of Manchester United.

Eden Hazard

Ronaldo said: “You see many players with potential, I will mention Odegaard of Madrid for example, at 16 he’s still young but you can see he’s a very good player.

“Hazard for example, the No. 7 of Manchester Depay is a good player too, Pogba and maybe Neymar.”

All five players mentions enjoyed wonderful 2013/2015 seasons but Memhis Depay and Eden Hazard have struggled to get going this season.
