Some power-drunk officers of the Nigerian police have been caught beating and assaulting a man in Benin.

The moment some officers of the Nigerian police assaulted a man for trying to stop them from harassing a lady has been captured on tape.

It was gathered that the sad incident happened in Benin, Edo state.

The police officers could be seen beating the man and kicking him as he lay on the floor. The incident has left many people in serious shock.

The authorities have been called to apprehend and punish the officers involved.
