Rio Ferdinand Picks Man United Player to Step Up After Baleba Injury

Man U legend Rio Ferdinand says Youri Tielemans now needs to play a bigger role because Carlos Baleba got injured.

Carlos hurts his muscle at the back of hiss thigh during Manchester United's 3-2 win against AS Roma.

Tielemans replaced him in the 51st minute at Old Trafford.

Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Ferdinand said it was great to see Tielemans back in action and he hoped the midfielder would keep it up.

He said that with Baleba out, United need Tielemans to get some form, raise his level and become a regular part of the team.

Baleba is expected to miss United's Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday.

Tielemans might be in the team's starting group for the game
