Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole has called ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar a "serial loser" and said he is not afraid of him ahead of the 2027 election.

Speaking on Thursday in a Television Programme, Oshiomhole said Atiku has run for president several times and lost each time.

He said 2027 will be no different.

He pointed to Atiku's losses in 2007, 2011, 2019 and 2023.

Adams also stated said Atiku left the PDP to join the ADC after losing the party's ticket.

Oshiomhole said a recent court ruling that cancelled the Mark led leadership of the ADC and the process that made Atiku its candidate shows his bid rests on weak ground.

He said the APC is not worried about Atiku possibly joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, or teaming up with Peter Obi.

He noted that Atiku and Obi ran separately in 2023 and still lost to Tinubu, so joining forces would not change the outcome.

Reported stated that Oshiomhole dismissed Atiku's promise to bring back fuel subsidy if elected.

He said Atiku was only playing to the crowd.

Oshiomhole challenged Atiku to explain what he would do differently.

He asked if Atiku would scrap the student loan scheme, bring back multiple exchange rates or return to paying fuel subsidy.

He said Tinubu is a statesman who thinks about the next generation, while Atiku only thinks about the next election.
