The FG have told the youth leaders to bring them real solutions, not just empty talks.
These should shape government policy and tackle the problems facing young Nigerians.
The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, made the call in Abuja at the opening of the conference's physical phase.
Olawande wants delegates to turn the ideas gathered during virtual consultations into practical plans.
Those plans should cover jobs, education, skills training, security and other key issues.
Olawande said delegates must identify the most serious problems, review solutions already suggested and build action plans that government can use.
He said the virtual consultations drew in young people from all 36 states and covered governance, jobs, education, technology, climate change, peace and security, and national unity.
He said the conference is meant to give young people a real voice in decisions that affect their lives.
"We are not here just to speak to ourselves.
We are here to help shape decisions that will affect millions of young Nigerians who are not in this room," he said.
He asked the group to respect everyones's idea and work towards recommendations that can be turned into real help for young Nigerians.
