Wike Attacks Obi and Atiku, Says They Have Nothing New to Offer Nigerians

The Minister Nyesom Wike says Nigerians already know that Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has nothing to offer.

Nyesom made these comments during his usual monthly talk with reporters in Abuja on Thursday.

Wike also said Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, had his chance in the past and did nothing with it.

He added that people remember how a former Rivers State governor looted the state's funds.

He also pointed to Obi's record in Anambra State.

Wike said people saw what happened when Charles Soludo opened a can of worms, a reference to the scandals Soludo uncovered in the state.

Wike then turned to Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP presidential candidate in 2023.

He admitted that Kwankwaso is very popular.

Kwankwaso won Kano and several other northern states in 2023.

Wike asked who those voters were if not people who supported the candidate.

He ended by asking who could stand against President Bola Tinubu's political power if the 2027 election goes to a runoff.

Reports stated, that Wike said that he studied politics for over 10 years and Tinubu is the right chioce.
