A man of God, Pastor Adewale Giwa, who is the leader of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry has claimed that Britain colonized Nigeria for the Fulanis.

He made the claim on Thursday as he called on Nigerians to unite and demand freedom from Fulani people.

The pastor, who is based in Akure, Ondo State said this in a message to celebrate Nigeria at 60.

The message was titled: “Nigeria was colonized for Fulani,” reads: “Let me wish the Fulani people in Nigeria a Happy Independence Day. There is no light in Nigeria because the truth is lost. Darkness has taken over Nigeria just like the cities of Naphtali and Zebulum in Matthew 4:15-16.

“We need the truth to illuminate whatever darkness that is holding us back. We can’t progress if we have not discovered that late Fredrick Lugard joined Nigeria together by force for Northerners. They have failed to review our constitution, they promised to restructure Nigeria but failed despite our earnest pleadings. No true Federalism where the powers of government are being divided among the National( Federal), State and Local government.

“We should stop deceiving ourselves in Nigeria and face the reality. I am disappointed in so many religious leaders who supposed to speak out for the oppressed. In 2 Chronicles 21:12, Prophet Elijah spoke out against King Jehoram, the son of Ahab. He wrote a letter, warning him the consequences of his action by leading the Israelites to sin just like President Muhammadu Buhari has led Nigerians into darkness. For how long are we going to be deceiving ourselves? If we are together, poverty would have become a thing of the past. If we are together, there wouldn’t have been killings everywhere in the county. Fulani herdsmen are killing innocent Nigerians and you see them addressing a press conference and you cannot arrest and prosecute them.
“They hate the truth because their deeds are evil. They send people after us, thinking they can intimidate us from speaking out. Anything meaningful cannot come out from a nation surrounded by darkness. Anybody who says Nigeria should be together is the enemy of the country. How can you manage over 590 languages being spoken in Nigeria?

“The British who colonized us, how many languages are in their country? How many languages are in the United States? Everything we need to know is in the bible. In Genesis Chapter 13 when the herdsmen of Abraham and Lot were fighting each other, they separated. Lot and Abraham parted ways and peace later reigned. Why are the Northerners afraid to let us go our ways?

“I urge the good people of Nigeria to unit and demand nothing from Fulani, but freedom. Nigeria was colonized for them. If an Igbo man becomes the president, he will still kiss Fulani’s shoes, likewise Yoruba or any tribe.”
