The son of Philip Shaibu, deputy Governor of Edo State is in the news over a controversial statement he made concerning #EndSARS protesters.
It was gathered that the young man slammed protesters saying that he doesn't care about what they are doing.
According to the young man, it is also the reason why he has not said or posted anything related to campaign.
In a video shared on social media, the man was upset by the way Nigerians living in Canada or America are seriously protesting against police brutality in Nigeria.
He says he doesn’t give a f*ck and questioned who Nigerians abroad are protesting to.
After being lambasted by Nigerians, he has now apologised.
In his words;
“Guys please I’m sorry. The video I made before, that wasn’t the right thing to say. The questions I had in my mind came out very wrong. I didn’t mean to say that.
The questions I had in my head about how protesting in other countries helps the matter, cause I didn’t really know if it’s effective enough. And I’m very sorry for making those videos, that video especially. It was my fault. I take all the blame. I’m sorry”.
