The clash between the military and the Shiite members in Zaria on Saturday has sparked protests in Iran in solidarity with the Shiite sect.

Iranians staged a peaceful protest outside the Nigerian embassy thi morning in Tehran, the Iranian capital to register their displeasure over the Army- Shiite group clash that occurred in Zaria, Kaduna state on Saturday December 12th.

Meanwhile the Iranian government yesterday summoned the Nigerian Ambassador to Iran, Ambassador Tukur Mani to receive Iran's protest over the deadly attacks on Shiite group.
