Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo were said to have submitted their assets declaration forms on Friday, May 28, which was acknowledge by the Code of Conduct Bureau.
From all indications, this new government seems to be the most tranparent the country has ever witnessed.
As mandated by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have reportedly declared their assets.
The President and his deputy were said to have submitted their assets declaration forms on Friday, May 28, which was acknowledge by the Code of Conduct Bureau.
The Nigerian Constitution states in Chapter VI Section 140, that a person elected to the office of President shall not begin to perform the functions of that office until he has declared his assets and liabilities as prescribed in the Constitution.
