The presidential aspirant also pledged to turn Nigeria from a consuming nation to a producing economy, adding that he is the best man to take the country to the next level of development
A former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential aspirant has revealed how the country can overcome insecurity.
Peter Obi stated that if elected as the next President in 2023, he will tackle insecurity by providing jobs for millions of citizens and also provide a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
The presidential hopeful added that he will lift millions of Nigeria out of poverty by reviving the moribund textile industries and also improving the agricultural sector by providing incentives and other farming implements to farmers.
He made the pledge on Monday when he met with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates in Kaduna State to solicit their support and vote during the forthcoming primary.
The presidential aspirant also pledged to turn Nigeria from a consuming nation to a producing economy, adding that he is the best man to take the country to the next level of development.
He however appealed to the delegates to vote wisely and ensure they elect a presidential candidate that has the capacity to address the numerous socioeconomic and developmental challenges confronting the country.
