The Presidency has remained silent hours after terrorists attacked troops of the Guards Brigade.
The troops have the responsibility of protecting the president.

The terrorists were said to be headed to the Nigerian Law School in Bwari when they ran into the troops, leading to the exchange of gunfire in which three soldiers were injured.
According to one of the military sources quoted by The Nation, the three soldiers who were injured during the attack were evacuated to the hospital for treatment.
Confirming the attack when contacted, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, Guards Brigade, Captain Godfrey Abakpa, said the terrorists were successfully repelled.
Abakpa added that some of the soldiers were wounded in action and taken to the hospital and are receiving treatments.
He urged members of the public to continue with their lawful activities as troops have been deployed to the general area to ensure security.
However, hours after the attack was confirmed, President Buhari and his spokesmen are yet to speak on the shocking attack.
