Professor Lateef Hussein, the former vice-chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, is dead.

The varsity announced his death in a tweet on Monday. Hussein was 75.

The professor of physics died after a brief illness on Sunday evening.

“Former Vice Chancellor of @LASUOfficial, Prof. Lateef Akanni Hussein is dead. He died after a brief illness in the evening of Sunday, 31st July, 2022 at the age of 75years''.
