Nigerian Woman Arrested In India With Drugs Concealed In Her Sandals

A 27-year-old Nigerian woman has been arrested by police in India.

The woman was arrested after she allegedly tried to smuggle drugs valued at Rs. 15,10,000, to Goa by concealing the consignment in her sandals. 

Superintendent of Police (SP), Nidhin Valsan, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, August 21, said the accused, Damilola Janet Odula, was nabbed after the police received a tip off on the consignment of drugs.

“The accused, carrying the drugs, had arrived from Delhi by Goa Express train. MDMA weighing 151 grams was recovered from her possession and seized.” Valsan said.

A case has been registered against her, he added.
