Oluremi Tinubu, a Nigerian senator and the wife of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, is set to visit the APC secretariat.
The senator will on Thursday afternoon lead a delegation of women leaders to meet the National Working Committee of the party in Abuja.
The development is coming barely 24 hours after her husband led his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima and other party chieftains to the national secretariat on Wednesday.
The political discourse will hold at about 4.00 pm.
Although no official statement was released by the leadership of the ruling APC, Oluremi is expected to engage the APC National Women leader, Mrs Betty Edu, on talks bothering on their active participation ahead of September 28 political campaign and 2023 elections.
As of the time of filing this, security details at the national secretariat of the party has been reinforced ahead of the visit by the senator’s delegation.
Just as witnessed on Wednesday, a means of identification would be demanded and search conducted on visitors coming into the premises of the secretariat to control the flow of human and vehicular traffic for security purpose.
