Storey Building Collapses In Jos (Photos)

A storey building collapsed in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau State.

The affected building housing several shops located opposite the Bukuru mini Stadium, collapsed late Sunday night, September 18.

A resident, Adamu Iliya told newsmen in Jos on Monday that nobody was inside the building as it was Sunday.

"We heard sound from the building at about 9pm, but we thank God it was on a Sunday and at night when nobody was in the shopping complex." the resident said.

Search and Rescue operation is ongoing at the time of filing this report.
