2023: Fani-Kayode Blasted For Attacking Peter Obi Over Private Jet

 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has been lambasted for attacking the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) Peter Obi over private jet.

 

Fani-Kayode had described Obi as a liar after he boarded a private jet to visit the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, on Saturday.

 

Recall that Obi had over the weekend shared photos of the visit on his Twitter page.

 

He stated that during the visit, he discussed several issues ranging from the fire incident in a Kano market to the recent flooding in the North, among others.

 

The former Governor of Anambra State was accompanied on the visit by the vice-presidential candidate of the LP, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.

 

However, reacting in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday morning, Fani-Kayode called the LP Presidential candidate out for using a private jet after going public to deny living such a luxurious lifestyle.

 

Sharing the video of the LP presidential candidate stepping down on a plane, the former minister captioned it; ”I don’t fly private jet. I don’t even stay in first class. I hate flamboyant life.”- Peter Obi.

Reacting Obi supporters blasted Fan-Kayode, saying he was intentionally about not understanding that Obi made the statement in the past and not now.
