The Delta State Police Command is seeking help finding a man identified as Iduh Hausa for killing his brother-in-law over alleged infidelity in Umunede, in the Ika North East Local Government Area of the state.
TORI reported that the fleeing suspect shot his brother-in-law following an altercation that ensued between the couple over infidelity allegation in Ileje community.
A source said tension was brewing in the community over the incident.
"Mr Iduh Hausa shot his brother-in-law to death just because he (suspect) claimed that the man was dating another lady. He said the brother-in-law was cheating on his sister,” he added.
The spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident to the Punch said effort is ongoing to arrest the suspect.
"Yes, it is confirmed; we have not arrested the suspect; he’s still at large. Effort is ongoing to arrest him wherever he is hiding." he added.
