Nigerian Defender Collapses And Dies On The Pitch In Malaysia

30-year old Nigerian defender and captain of Malaysian club T-Team , David Faramola Oniya has slummed and died while playing a match. Above right was his picture, minutes before his death. He went down about 3 minutes into the game and was later pronounced dead at hospital.

Oniya, who was in his first season with the club, had barely touched the ball in the friendly match with Super League side Kelantan in Kota Bharu. The match was called off in the 60th minute when they received a call from the hospital that Oniya had died..... R.I.P to him.
