What I Will Do For Teenager At Peter Obi’s Rally – Cubana Chief Priest

The photo of the boy, identified as Yusuf Alimi, where he raised his hands to show his support for Obi went viral on social media on Saturday.

 

Pascal Okechukwu, the popular Nigerian socialite, who is also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has made a vow.

He vowed to help the boy who stood in front of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s moving convoy at a Lagos rally on Saturday.

The photo of the boy, identified as Yusuf Alimi, where he raised his hands to show his support for Obi went viral on social media on Saturday.

A Facebook user, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, had asked for the boy’s whereabouts because he wanted to give him N100,000 saying, “ This is the photo of the week. How can I get to this boy? I want to gift him 100k. It’s youth o’clock! I see hope for common persons coming back again!”

Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram story on Saturday and reshared the Facebook post of Onukwubiri vowing to change his story.

He wrote, “Me too I go like send am better thing. His life gotta (has to) change.”

The PUNCH reports that when the teenager was interviewed, he disclosed that he stood in front of the convoy because of his love for Obi.

Alami, who said he is from Ibadan but based in Lagos said Obi helps people and he likes him a lot.

Alami added that if Obi won the elections, he (Alami) would pray for the presidential candidate to do well.

Obi rounded off his presidential campaign in Lagos, with a rally held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island, on Saturday.

Obi’s running mate, Datti Baba-Amed was also present at the final rally, as well as the leader of the pan Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, among others.

The PUNCH reports that the rally on Saturday was also marred with violence as some hoodlums attacked the supporters of Obi, with the police confirming four injured.
