Presidential Election Result: Full List Of States Tinubu, Atiku, Obi Won

The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu as the winner at the International Collation Centre in Abuja.

The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, was declared as the president-elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in the early hours of Wednesday.

 

The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu as the winner at the International Collation Centre in Abuja.

According to Yakubu, Tinubu scored a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest rivals and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, who polled 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533 votes, respectively.

Tinubu will now succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

DAILY POST reports that the presidential election was conducted last Saturday across the country.

However, the three leading presidential candidates, Tinubu, Atiku and Obi, won in 12 states each.
