Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has cleared the air after he threw away his runners-up medal.
This follows his team's 4-1 loss on penalties to Sevilla in the Europa League final.
According to Mourinho, he doesn’t keep silver medals and always gives it away.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss was the first man to pick up his medal during the presentation but ended up handing it over to a fan in the crowd.
“That’s what I did, I don’t want silver medals.
“I don’t keep silver medals, so I gave it away,” Mourinho told Movistar.
