APC Lawmakers Climb Gates Into National Assembly Complex

 On Thursday, some APC lawmakers climbed over the gate of the National Assembly. Their reason? It was reported that following orders from President Goodluck Jonathan, the IGP sent over 1000 police officers and state security officers to lock up the gates leading to the National Assembly Complex . PDP lawmakers were allowed into the premises after identifying themselves but APC lawmakers were barred from entering.

 

After much agitation, the APC lawmakers took laws into their hands and climbed the gates  into the building, singing solidarity songs to boost their morale. See pictures of the scene below.
