This followed the termination of his contract by the company.
According to information gathered, the decision came after Shannon Sharpe settled a $50 million lawsuit filed by an ex-girlfriend who accused him of r3pe and physical abuse.
Recall that Shannon Sharpe temporarily stepped away from his ESPN duties on April 24, 2025, amid the lawsuit.
Shannon Sharpe stated he would focus on his family and respond to the allegations.
However, ESPN supported his decision due to the seriousness of the situation.
It’s worth noting that Shannon Sharpe joined ESPN in 2016, initially as an NFL analyst on ‘First Take’.
