Drama As Man Locks Up His Girlfriend's Shop In Umuahia, Threatens To Deal With Her If She Tampers With The Key (Video)

An unidentified man locked his girlfriend’s shop in Umuahia, Abia State, and warned her not to touch the key, threatening to deal with her if she did.

Human rights activist, Ochiegbu Marvelous, who confirmed the incident on Monday, November 34, 2025, led his team to the scene and broke the key. 
 
Ochiegbu didn't disclose the reason for the man's action at the time of filing this report.
 
He however said the man has no right to lock the shop because the rent receipt and other documents are in the woman's name.
 
“Boyfriend don go lock em girlfriend shop for umuahia Abia state and vowed to deal with her if she tamper the key.

"I go help am break the shop key today then wait for his reactions. Osee abalam Anya,” he wrote.
 
“Shop successfully opened. We are waiting for his next line of action. He don’t have any right to lock her shop. No justifiable reason at all.

"Some men should learn ooooo. Osee abalam Anya!! Uwam. Shop rent and other receipts bears the lady name. So wetin una want tell me,” he added in an update.
