Tears Flow Bitterly As Popular Content Creator, Sunshine Is Buried In Lagos (Video)

Iniobong Esther Louis, the late popular Nigerian content creator, who was better known as Sunshine, has been laid to rest in Lagos.

Sunshine, aged 34, reportedly d!ed on January 9, 2026, after complications from a fibroid surgery complication that began in December 2025.

According to her friend Chidera Madu, Sunshine, who hailed from Nnung Udoe Itak in Ikono Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State,  was initially taken to Orchid General Hospital.

However, due to a nationwide doctors’ strike, she reportedly received only pain relief without a comprehensive diagnosis, necessitating a transfer to another facility on January 2 for proper treatment.

Following her de@th, friends and family appealed to the public for financial assistance to give the content creator a dignified burial.

The burial rites for the skit maker started at the Lagos Island General Hospital in Marina on Wednesday.

Sunshine’s remains were transported to Atan Cemetery in Yaba for interment, as friends, family and colleagues paid their final respect to her.
