Toke Makinwa Hits Back At Netizen Who Slammed Her For Only Showing Off Her Daughter’s Body Parts On Social Media Except Her Face

Toke Makinwa, the Nigerian media personality, has fired back at a social media user who accused her of “performative privacy” for sharing photos of her daughter, Yaya, online while keeping the child’s face hidden.

Toke who became a mum in 2025 has been sharing photos and videos of Yaya on her social media space, however concealing her face. 

Last night, she shared a video of Yaya with her face conspicuously omitted in the video.

A Netizen left a comment saying she respects Toke's decision but that she feels hiding her daughter's face but showing off other parts of her body as ‘’performative privacy.''

The person opined that Toke's decision reeks of ‘’attention seeking'' wrapped in private delusion.

Toke saw the comment and went on to respond.
