Medical experts have advised people living with Asthma to strictly follow their treatment plans and use prescribed medications correctly to prevent life-threatening attacks.

In order to prevent attacks, asthma sufferers have been advised to take care of themselves by using asthma drugs.

These statements were made during the NTA program "Good Morning Nigeria" by Dr. Ahmad Sani Bala of the family medicine department at FMC, Abuja, and Dr. Hassana Abubakar, a consultant pulmonologist at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

Patients with asthma are said to be able to lead regular lives if they take their meds as directed.
